Elizabeth Dianne Drye Skidmore

Elizabeth Dianne Drye Skidmore, age 72, of 1785 Cameron Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Coral Park Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Rhodes officiating. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow in the sanctuary of the church. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Elizabeth was born October 31, 1949, in Rowan County, to the late Charles Aaron Drye and Mildred Agnew Drye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Gene Skidmore. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by sons, Terry Skidmore (Tina) of Mt. Holly, and Michael Skidmore (Jennifer) of Maiden; daughter, Janet Canipe (Trent) of Lincolnton; nine grandchildren, Victoria Barber (Scotty), Kayla Pressley (Adam), Jake, Katelyn ,Justin (Alexis), Allison, Houston, Mason (Jenn), and Justin (Cris); three great-grandchildren, Maggie, Jonah, and Adam; brother, Banks Drye (Kathy) of Lenoir; and sister, Mary Fields (Harry) of South Carolina.
Memorials may be made to Coral Park Baptist Church, PO Box 647, Maiden, NC 28650.
