Earleen Rose Acord Roberts Rink, age 78 of Wendover Drive in Lincolnton died Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Her funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernie Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m.on Thursday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home
Mrs. Rink was born on April 1, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Constance Ellen Wheeler Acord. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Rink, her son, Ernest Roberts, two brothers, Sam Acord and Rodger Acord and her grandson, Richard Barger. She held many jobs thoughout her life, but her favorite was owning her own ceramic shop.
Mrs. Rink is survived by three daughters, Darlene Wilson (David) of Indiana, Pamela Knight of Indiana and Rebecca Wilson of Lincolnton; one brother, Charles Acord of Kentucky; four sisters, Mary Garten of Cornelius, Vickie Cohron of Mooresboro, Willa Willis of Florida and Neta Pressley of Georgia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
