Carroll Jennings "Jack" Beam

Carroll Jennings “Jack” Beam, age 87, of Iron Station, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Pearl Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Whitfield and Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.
“Jack” was born December 12, 1934, in Caldwell County, to the late Kern and Zelma Coffey Beam. He served in the United States Army, and later worked in shipping for Freightliner.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Cagle Beam of the home; son, Derek Beam and wife Ginger of Fallston; sisters, Dorothy Morse and husband Calvin of FL, Clara Gibson of Charlotte, and Sandra Dahlofher and husband Gary of FL; and step grandchildren, Jerry Duncan, Jr. and Jessica Dott.
