Anita Mull Helms
( March 6, 1936 - July 3, 2022 )
Anita Mull Helms, age 86, formerly of Car Farm Road, Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday July 3, 2022 at Peak Resources of Cherryville.
Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Harvey Gates and Rev. Shea Houser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Helms was born on March 6, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cynthia Devinny Mull. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joe Helms and three brothers, Wayne Mull, Mack Mull and Tommy Mull. Mrs. Helms was a retiree of J.P. Stevens of Boger City and was a member of Salem Baptist Church of Lincolnton.
Mrs. Helms is survived by two sons, Joe Helms (Lynda) of Lincolnton and Todd Helms (Myra) of Lincolnton; one daughter, Diane Craig (Jerry) of Iron Station; four brothers, Darrell Mull (Becky) of Maiden, Terry Mull (Pam) of Lincolnton, Mickey Mull (Sherry) of Lincolnton and Steve Mull of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Katie Helms (Bo Abernethy) of Lincolnton, Joshua Craig (Kinsley) of Vale and John Helms (Amber Parker) of Vale; sister-in-law, Joann Mull of Rocky Mount; and numerous nieces and nephews.
