Cary Neal "Andy" Caskey

Cary Neal “ANDY” Caskey age 93, of Iron Station died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton.
His funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Caskey officiating. Burial will follow in the Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral at Warlick Funeral Home.
Andy was born August 3, 1928 in Gaston County. He was the son of the late Charles Clay Caskey and Ida McCallister Caskey. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Clay Jackson Caskey, Samuel Sistar Caskey, Charles Caskey Alexander, Mary Craig Peeler, Martha Jean Bennis, Graham McCallister Caskey, Richard Lee Caskey, infant sister and Johnny Dykes Caskey. He graduated from Lincolnton High School and then entered the United States Air Force where he received an honorable discharge for his service. He retired from Hoke Electric in Kings Mountain.
Andy is survived by his brother, Joe “David” Caskey of Iron Station; two sisters, Peggy Bartholomew of Iron Station and Pat Bradshaw of Iron Station; and numerous nieces and nephews.
