Keith Clyde Childers

Keith Clyde Childers, age 87, of Orchid Court in Denver, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at New Vision Ministries with Rev. Wayne Parker and Rev. Alan Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:15 until 10:15 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Childers was born January 12, 1935, in York, South Carolina, to the late Clyde Thacker Childers and Myrtle Osment Childers. He served in the United States Navy and would later work as a truck parts salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Tadlock Childers of the home; sons, Derek Childers (Beth) and Scott Childers (Beverly), all of Lincolnton; sister, Louise C. Brindle of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Christopher Childers, Jennifer Carte, and Alex Childers; and five great-grandchildren, Jonah Carte, Remi Childers, Jovi Childers, Nick Carte, Kelsey Carte, and Albrey Carte.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
