Virginia "Ginnie" Bernice Loy Rapp

Virginia “Ginnie” Bernice Loy Rapp, age 84, of Country Acres Drive in Maiden, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joshua Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
“Ginnie” was born October 14, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Guy Loy and Katherine McGary Loy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marc Rapp. “Ginnie” was the owner of Country Acres Daycare.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Rapp of the home; two sons, Rod Rapp (Lori) of Denver, and Billy Rapp (Janie) of Vale; three daughters, Cheryl Goldner (Tom) of Ocala, FL, Gail Milholland of Lincolnton, and Nancy Mosteller (Grant) of Lincolnton; one brother, Richard Loy (Grace) of Lewes, DE; fifteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
