Wanda Ann Caldwell Chapman

Wanda Ann Caldwell Chapman, age 80, of the Addison in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Mike Devine officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of her son and daughter-in-law at 1062 Willow Drive in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Chapman was born March 3, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Chester and Rachel Dysart Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Van Chapman, Sr. She worked in administrations at several automotive locations and retired from Lincoln County Hospital, working for the IT Department.
She is survived by her three sons, Jerry Van Chapman, Jr. (Paula), David Scott Chapman (Jackie), and Edward Lee Chapman (Karen Hussey); four grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Chapman, Erica Lacie Norman (Kevin), Brian Paul Chapman, and Tyler Alexander Chapman; and five great-grandchildren, Holden Norman, Braydon Chapman, Ashtyn Chapman, Raelynn Norman, and Kashton Broome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, or to the Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
