Carolyn Turner Dellinger

Carolyn Turner Dellinger, age 89, of The Greens of Lincolnton, died on Friday, September 16, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in Hollybrook Cemetery with Bess Thornburg officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dellinger was born October 24, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late William Martin Turner and Clara McRee Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lloyd Dellinger, Sr. Carolyn was the former owner of Lincolnton Insurance and Realty. She worked for the City of Lincolnton before that. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son, Jack L. Dellinger, Jr. of Lincolnton; daughters, Jennifer Dellinger-Childers (Dan) of Cherryville, and Margot Davis (Mack) of Henrico, VA; three brothers, Bill Turner (Mary) of Greensboro, Kermit Turner (Carol) of Hickory, and Dwight Turner (Doris) of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Nick Dellinger (Lacey), Alex Davis (Carter), Rys Davis (Jaclyn), Keelan Childers (Lynda), and Katie Childers Boyles (Brandon); six great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Penelope, and Haisley Davis, and Sammy Dellinger, Cormac Childers, and Collette Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews.
