Gladys Duncan Arrowood

Gladys Duncan Arrowood, age 94, of Laboratory Road in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Long Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery with Rev. Sarah Underwood officiating. Mrs. Arrowood will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Ms. Arrowood was born January 10, 1928, in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Ellis C. Duncan and Elizabeth Crawford Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clay Arrowood; and son, Jerry Arrowood. Mrs. Arrowood worked as a packer for Burlington Industries in Ranlo.
She is survived by her children, Calvin Arrowood (Shirley) of Cramerton, Alvin Arrowood (Judy) of Hillsborough, NC, Mary Lou King, Bill Arrowood, and Clyde Arrowood (Kim), all of Lincolnton; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
