Rita Sue Schronce Haney, age 75, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Haney was born May 14, 1947, in Lincoln County, to the late R.W. Schronce and Flossie Davis Schronce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Haney; daughter, Crystal Haney; and brother, Tim Schronce.
She is survived by a daughter, Misty Hamrick (Danny) of Lincolnton; granddaughter, Maisy Hamrick; brothers, Hal Schronce (Vicky) and Randy Schronce (Barbara), all of Lincolnton; sister, Judy Schultz (Steve) of Newton; sister-in-law, Sheri Schronce; two step-children; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
