Marshall Buel McAllister, age 87, of 5043 Sisk Hill Road in Vale, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022.
The family and friends are gathering to celebrate Marshall’s life, love and friendship on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the Lincolnton Sportsman Club, 389 Horseshoe Lake Road, Lincolnton, NC. Mr. McAllister was born August 4, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late Horace and Ada Reep McAllister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael McAllister; brothers, John, Roy, and Paul McAllister; sisters, Dorothy Whitesides, Agnes Cark, Evelyn McAllister, Helen Walker, Bertha Harbison, and Arzilee Stroupe. He worked as a truck driver and farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Pate McAllister of the home; son, Jeffery McAllister (Denise) of Lincolnton; daughter, Beverly Lynne Baker (Wayne) of Lincolnton; two sisters, Katie Sigmon of Denver, and Edith McAllister of Lincolnton; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lincolnton Sportsman Club, 389 Horseshoe Lake Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
