Barbara Jane Lanier Sisk

Mrs. Barbara Jane Lanier Sisk, age 75, of Swanson Road in Crouse, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Faulkenbury and Rev. Jim Cape officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 am prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Sisk was born July 4, 1947 in Lincoln County to the late Jessie Cornelious James and Lettie Irene Denton Lanier. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Lanier and Allen Lanier and one sister, Loley Summey. She was retired from Rhyne Mills.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Sisk of the home; one son, Scottie Sisk and wife Deann of Bessemer City; one daughter, Shannon Sisk of Kings Mountain; one brother, Roy Lanier of Lincolnton; one sister, Faye Heafner of Stoney Point; four grandchildren, Justin Gilleland, Jennifer (Poohgirl) Gilleland, Brooklyn Freytag and husband Tristan and Brandon Sisk; three great grandchildren, Bentley Gilleland, McKenzie Gilleland and Hadley Rae Freytag.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wendover Hospice, 953 Wendover Heights Dr, Shelby, NC 28150.
