Christopher Gene Goyette, age 51, of Todd Street in Dallas, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, November 25, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Heavenly View Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Goyette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Christopher was born April 3, 1971, in Gaston County to Barbara Cordell Pennington and the late Michael Dean Goyette. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Christopher Goyette.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Hancock Goyette of the home; sons, Jeffery Goyette and Christopher Goyette (Caitlin); daughters, Christina Goyette and Cristen Goyette; mother, Barbara Pennington (Charles); brothers, Jeremy Goyette and Rev. Michael Goyette; and grandson, Alexander Goyette.
