Eugene Elmer Lefeber
( October 19, 1944 - November 29, 2022 )
Eugene Elmer Lefeber, age 78, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Victory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Ledford and Rev. David Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Lefeber was born October 19, 1944, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to the late Edwin and Geneva Snortum Lefeber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Gary Lefeber. He served in the National Guard and worked as a heavy equipment operator for I.U.O.E. Local 139.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Audrey Lee Dupee Lefeber of the home; children, Darryl Lefeber of Lincolnton, Brenda Reyburn (Edward) of Maiden, and Tammy Wall of Belmont; two brothers, Lloyd Lefeber of Michigan, and Kevin Lefeber of Wisconsin; two sisters, Diane Klotz and Cindy Knaus, both of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Tiffany Reyburn- Cordero (Marcial), Douglas Reyburn (Jessica), Kenneth Reyburn, and Amanda Wall; and two great-grandchildren, Natalee and Adelaide Wall.
