Tony Lee Rhyne

Tony Lee Rhyne, age 78, of Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Lincolnton Church of God, where he was a member. Rev. Dr. Richard King and Rev. Danny Houser will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Rhyne was born October 14, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late William and Virginia Dare Mosteller Rhyne. He worked as an upholsterer in the furniture industry. Tony loved Jesus, his family, fishing, and his church family.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Byers Rhyne of the home; daughter, Lori Rhyne Scronce (David) of Vale; two brother, Doyle Lane Rhyne and Steve Allen Rhyne, both of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Cassie Mullins (Landan) of Newton, and Hunter Scronce of Kings Mountain; and expected great-granddaughter, Adalee Kay Mullins.
