George Luther Dellinger

George Luther Dellinger age 85, of Iron Station died Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Mr. Dellinger was born February 7, 1937 in Lincoln County. He was the son of the late Samuel Dellinger and Margaret Michael Dellinger. He was also preceded in death by his brother Jerry Dellinger. George was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. He was a carpentry and masonry instructor as well as a licensed contractor.
His funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Asbury United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dellinger is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean Dellinger; daughter, Rhonda Till (Randy) of Oak Island, NC and son, George Dellinger (Stephanie) of Iron Station, NC; grandchildren, Katie Jean Bork (Matt), Tyler Till (Katy), Riley Till (Bailey), Georgia Dellinger and Houston Dellinger; great grandchildren, Randal Jean, Tilley, Clara, Fisher, Ottie and Piper.
