Ida Mae Payseur Robinson

Ida Mae Payseur Robinson, age 77, of Carpenter Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Amy Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Robinson was born May 10, 1945, in Lincoln County, to the late Russell Franklin Payseur and Amanda “Mandie” Carpenter Payseur. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Robinson; and sisters, Jeannette Rhyne, Betty Sue Poovey, and Ruth Payseur. She worked in textiles.
Ida Mae enjoyed watching home remodeling and crime shows, volunteering her time to the community and to Landers Chapel UMC, spending time with her family, especially time with her favorite baker and great-grandson, Wyatt.
She is survived by a son, Charles “Mark” Robinson (Jamie) of Duncan, OK; daughter, Cynthia Lowrance (Gregory) of Lincolnton; two sisters, Kathleen Carpenter of Lincolnton, and Ellen Smith of New Braunfels, TX; ten grandchildren, Felicia (Scott), Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Trystan (Amber), Alexis (Corey), Tiffany, Chris, Alex, Coby, and Raianna; eight great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Lowery Robinson (Vickie) of Augustus, GA.
