David Nicolas Escobar

David Nicolas Escobar, age 56, of Highway 274 in Vale, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Mr. Escobar was born September 21, 1966, in San Salvador, El Salvador, a son of the late Nicolas Escobar and Marta Sanabria Valencia.
Mr. Escobar will be lovingly remembered by his children and extensive extended family. He loved his long career of auto body work, telling jokes, and giving out nicknames.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Escobar was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 20 years, Lily Graciela Cruz, with whom he spent every moment.
A funeral service for Mr. Escobar will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, Vale, NC, with Reverend Robert Sain officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Carolina Caring in Newton, NC, for the love they showed them and David during his final moments.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warlick Funeral Home- David N. Escobar Funeral Fund, P.O. Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
