Nellie Sue Ledford Ingle, age 83, of 3595 W. Highway 27 in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 27, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Tommy Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:15 p.m. on Friday at the church.
Sue was born June 22, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Will and Mae Mahala Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dell Ingle, and a sister, Peggy Weddington. She worked in insurance.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Ingle Houser (Kenny) of Vale; granddaughters, Katie Sue Houser and Jamie Houser; niece, Chrystal Weddington of Gastonia; (friend) Nicole Hefflin; and brother, Tommy Ledford of Denver.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Blessing Box, PO Box 7, Vale, NC 28168.
