Henry Clarence Bryant

Henry “Sam” Clarence Bryant, age 93, of Rock Creek Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 3, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Emanuel Reformed Church with Pastor Natalie Green Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Warlick Funeral Home.
“Sam” was born July 27, 1929, in Banks County, Georgia, to the late William C. Bryant and Ella Mae Forrester Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Bradshaw Bryant, brothers, Marshall Bryant and W.C. Bryant , and sisters, Irene Rosser and Faye Mahoney. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Sam worked in security for Lincoln Medical Center for twenty years.
He is survived by a daughter, Cindy Caldwell (Lanny) of Lincolnton; sister, Shelvia Jean Link of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Haley Caldwell Schrum (Mark), and Lacey Caldwell Madison (Michael); and four great-grandchildren, Kaison Schrum, Kaidence Schrum, Rhett Madison, and Emmett Madison.
Memorials may be made to Emanuel Reformed Church, PO Box 2058, Lincolnton, NC 28093, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
