Harvey Edward Cherry

With Love, grace and gratitude Harvey “Eddie” Cherry went to be with our heavenly father. He was surrounded by his family that loved him so dearly. He was the best husband, father and grandfather to our family. His humor and smile welcomed friends and neighbors near and far.
Harvey is survived by his high school sweetheart and forever love, Martha Reynolds Cherry. Two children, Scott, Hope Digh and his son-in-law Rob. Grandsons are Carson, Cody and Aaron Digh and a granddaughter Anna Digh with who he shared his birthday with and called “his twin’. Harvey was blessed with two great grandchildren that he loved dearly. Harvey was looking forward to getting a new granddaughter in law, Taylor Garrett.
Harvey retired from Duke Energy after 25 years and followed his dream of woodworking. He began his own Hardwood flooring business in which he was blessed to have many customers, turned friends, in the Denver and surrounding areas, then teaching his skill to his grandson.
A special heartfelt thanks to Sarah Cochcroft, Patty Korn and
Tricia Harris along with Hospice of Catawba County for their endless hours of providing the best care and love possible.
In lieu of a funeral or flowers Harvey requested that each spend time with their families and loved ones.
Harvey and Marth resided at 3645 Mack Ballard Road in Maiden.
