Jerry Keith Tate, age 84, of South Madison Street in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Covenant Church with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.
Mr. Tate was born January 15, 1939, in Gaston County, to the late Frank and Katherine Whitesides Tate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Seagle Tate; a son, Keith Tate; and a daughter, Elaine Tate Williams. He worked for Freightliner.
He is survived by a son, Darin Tate (Angie) of Lincolnton; and grandchildren, Drew Smith, Sean Smith, Amy Cricket Aderhold, Colby Long, Sydnie Tate, Saylor Tate, and Xander Tate; and four great-grandchildren.
