Mark Feaston Polk

Mark Feaston Polk, age 62, of Club Drive in Monroe, died on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Covenant Church with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.
Mark was born June 7, 1960, in Franklin County, to Kaye Hayes Sims and the late Clyde Feaston Polk. He was a PGA Pro at the City of Monroe Country Club.
He is survived by his mother, Kaye Hayes Sims of Lincolnton; sister, Sherri Polk LaPorte (Howard) of Maine; stepsisters, Sonya Garmon (Joe) of Lincolnton and their children Joseph Garmon (Ashley), Peyton, Saylor, and Bailey Garmon, all of Lincolnton, Carrie Russell (Skip), and their children Austen and Sidney of Lincolnton; uncles, Johnny Hayes (Carol) of Raleigh, and Mike Hayes (Laurie) of California; numerous cousins; and friend and caregiver, Sandy Shannon of Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
