Betty Potter Sisk

Betty Potter Sisk, age 82 of Hickory Village in Hickory, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Betty was born May 8, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Cannie and Elida Sigmon Potter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Leo Sisk; son, Billy King; daughter, Dottie King; brothers, Bill Potter and Cletus Potter; and sister, Francis Morgan. She was a loving mother of six children.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Shrum of Lincolnton; son, Bobby King (Anna) of Lincolnton; daughter, Patricia “Patty” Newell (David) of Lincolnton; daughter, Angela Rose of Vale; brother, Cannie “Bud” Potter of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
