Clara Sue Murray Allen

Clara Sue Murray Allen, age 74, of Highway 73, Stanley went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Martha’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ed Reece officiating.
Mrs. Allen was born on June 10, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Avery Murray, Sr. and Mamie Jo Knight Murray. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Avery Murray, Jr. Mrs. Allen worked as a caregiver.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary Allen of the home; two sons, Jimmy Smallwood (Tammy) of West Lincoln and Edwin Allen (Kim) of Matthews; one daughter, Belinda Kay Harrelson of Catawba County; four sisters, Ruby Capps of Murphy, NC, Fannie Hunter of Cornelia, GA, Bertha Murray of Homer, GA and Vergie Pilgrim of Cornelia, GA; three grandchildren, Amber Smallwood Champion, Elias Allen, Noah Allen and one great-grandchild, Liam Allen.
