Betty Jean Beal Ballard

Betty Jean Beal Ballard, age 88, of 2170 Country Club Road, Lincolnton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday April 27 at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, prior to the service at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Ballard was a lifetime member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. She was born on December 7, 1934, to the late Rev. Belton C. Beal and Sudie Saine Caldwell Beal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-mother Isabell Sullivan Beal; five brothers, Dr. Lewis Beal, Ed Beal, Millard Beal, Hugh Beal, Rev. B. C. Beal; one sister, Noma Beal Hallman.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Jerry Donald Ballard; three sons, Mike Ballard (Rande), Ken Ballard (Tammy), Tony Ballard; one daughter, Donna Ballard; three grandsons, Kyle Ballard (Natasha), Justin Ballard, Evan Ballard; one granddaughter, Crystal Brooks (David); step-grandson Wesley Crook (Mary); four sisters, Linda Wilkinson of Valdese (Sam); Jane Chronister; Carole Carter (James); Beth Roseboro (Nelson); two brothers, Dale Norman, Jeff Beal (Lou).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, North Carolina 28092, or to
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, PO Box 441, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
