Larry Brice Keever

Larry Brice Keever, age 81, of Hill Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Gloryland Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Witherspoon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Mr. Keever was born June 3, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late John Franklin Keever and Bessie Johnson Keever. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff; brothers, Bill Keever, Carrol Keever, David Keever, and Jerry Keever; sisters; Natha Lee Meeks, Alma Robinson, Betty Sain Brandenburg, and Pat Houser; and step-mother, Nancy Sain Keever. He retired from the Lincoln County Solid Waste Department.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Scronce Keever; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Scronce of Lincolnton, Norma Keever of Iron Station, Audrey Keever and Elaine Keever, both of Lincolnton, and Shirley Perkins of Iron Station; brothers-in-law, Jim Houser, Eddie Perkins, and Jimmy Scronce, all of Iron Station; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Gloryland Baptist Church, 3925 King Wilkinson Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
