Nancy Tadlock Luckey

Nancy Tadlock Luckey, 77, of Denver, died June 14, 2023. She was born September 9, 1945, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Sigsby and Blannie Tadlock.
Nancy worked at Southern Bell from a young age until her retirement in 1991. Her favorite hobby was gardening, and she had beautiful gardens in her yard.
Nancy married Reid Luckey on April 22, 1978; they had no children, but loved their nieces and nephews as their own. She was preceded in death by her husband Reid in 2005, and her brother, Carlton Tadlock in 2003.
She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Hahnenkratt of Phoenix, AZ, Anne Hartman of Henry, VA, and Cheri Gonzalez and her husband Rafael Gonzalez of Stanley, NC; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Unity Presbyterian Church in Denver on Monday, June 26th at 3:00 PM. The family will meet with friends in the community room of the church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to Hospice and Palliative Care - Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Unity Presbyterian Church, 8210 United Church Road, Denver, NC 28037.
