Patricia Mincey Carpenter

Patricia Mincey Carpenter, age 79, of New Ground Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, in the Pisgah United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Wesley Ingle and Scott Rudisill officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Patricia was born July 8, 1943, in Lincoln County, to the late Floyd Houston Mincey and Mary Lee Kiser Mincey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Everette Carpenter, Jr., daughter, Debbie McAlister; brothers, Larry Mincey and Eddie Mincey, and sister, Phyllis Mace.
Survivors include her daughters, Penny C. Carpenter (William) of Cherryville and Nancy Rudisill (Garry) of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Brandie Reader (Alex) of Belmont, Luke Black (Dallas) of Lincolnton, Logan Black (fiancé Kamaran Truett) of Lincolnton, Matthew McAlister (Marie) of Maiden, and Stephanie McAlister (fiancé Arron Wise) of Maiden; three great-grandchildren, Parker Reader, Macie McAlister, and Kamdyn O’Brien; two sisters, Joy Smith (Rick) and Libby Ellis (Terry), all of Lincolnton; and son-in-law, Steve McAlister of Maiden.
