John Levantino, Jr., of Carriage Lane in Lincolnton, died on his 92nd birthday, Friday, July 7, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will take place in the Salisbury VA Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Levantino was born July 7, 1931, in Manhattan, New York, to the late John and Rose Targia Levantino. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Antonette Mandanici Levantino. John served in the United States Army and was the owner of Torque Fast, Inc.
He is survived by a son, John G. Levantino (Kirsten) of Lincolnton; daughter, Karen Levantino of Indian Land; and five grandchildren Brianna, Krystal, Dakota, John, and Nicholas Levantino.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
