Joseph Franklin Beal

Joseph Franklin Beal, age 82, of Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jane Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm prior to the service on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Beal was born March 12, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Mason and Sadie Perkins Beal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Cherry Beal, a granddaughter, Amber Brook Millsaps; four sisters, Johnnie Beal Gilbert, Bessie Beal Leigh, Willie Beal Howard and Jean Beal Hartman; five brothers, Duke Beal, R.B. Beal, Donald Beal, Darrell Beal and J.D. Beal. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by one daughter, Larisa Beal McSwain (Marcus Williams) of Lincolnton; one grandson, Larson McSwain of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Louise Beal of Lincolnton.
The family would like to express special thanks to Joe’s caregivers, Elaine Elmore and Debra Avery.
Memorials may be made to Levine’s Children’s Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203.
