Lelia Katherine Hendrick Mason

Lelia Katherine Hendrick Mason, age 94, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, July 24, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sarah Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the old New Life Baptist Church (Sunrise Cemetery). The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mason was born September 9, 1928, in Lincoln County, to the late Samuel and Ella Armstrong Hendrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Henry Mason; children, George Robert Mason and Katherine Elaine Henderson; and eleven siblings. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Henry Thomas Mason (Carol) of Lincolnton; stepsister, Pauline Drum; grandchildren, Lynn Hoyle, Denise Harris, Angie Henderson, Michelle Day, Terry Henderson, Kim Heavner, Jeff Mason, and Wayne Mason; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
