Janet "Gail" Taylor Dougan, age 73, of Puetts Chapel Road in Bessemer City, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Ms. Dougan was born January 20, 1950, in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Leonard Gerome and Edith Christine Garver Taylor.
Ms. Dougan is survived by her aunt, Judy Taylor; and caregiver, Patricia Davis.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Dougan was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Dougan; and sister, Linda Kay Taylor.
A funeral service for Ms. Dougan will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Daniel Davis and Mr. Earl Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC.
