Bobby Houser Heavner

Bobby Houser Heavner, age 89, of West Pine Street in Lincolnton, died on Monday, August 21, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Heavner was born November 8, 1933, in Lincoln County, to the late Kohn and Della Houser Heavner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Madge Warlick Heavner; daughter-in-law, Peggie Heavner; brothers, Charles A. Heavner and Joe Billy Heavner; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clarence Sifford and Peggy T. Heavner. He was a self-employed hairdresser and for Lincoln County Schools.
He is survived by a son, Mitchell Heavner, of Lincolnton; sister, Sarah Heavner Hallman; sister-in-law, Paulette B. Heavner; and grandchildren, Bobby Nash Heavner and Courtney G. Heavner.
