Dwight Luther Moody, Jr., age 56, of Buffalo Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at New Vision Ministries Cemetery with Pastor Scott Mann officiating.
Dwight was born September 25, 1966, in Lincoln County, to the late Dwight Luther Moody, Sr. and Betty Lou Clanton Moody. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Moody. He was self-employed in lawn care.
He is survived by a daughter, Kristy Meadows (William) of Lincolnton; son, Christopher Moody of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Katelyn Sadler (Jamarius), Kassidy Bravo, and Kylie Bravo, all of Lincolnton; great-grandchildren, Aaralyn Jones and Emberleigh Bravo of Lincolnton; and long-time friend, Traci Dillard.
