Dorothy Grant “Dot” Howard age 76, of Gastonia Highway Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Buffalo Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Brittain and Rev. Ronnie Keener officiating.
Mrs. Howard was born November 16, 1946 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Grant and Lois Thomas Grant. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Howard and sister Nancy G. Hoffman. She worked in textiles.
Her survivors include three daughters; Beverly Simmons and husband Barry, Connie Carpenter and husband Tony and Sandra Lockridge and husband Chuck all of Lincolnton; three brothers, Raymond Grant, Sr., Johnny Grant and Randy Grant and wife Rosie all of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
