Mary Talbert Ballard Wheeler

Mary Talbert Ballard Wheeler, age 90, of Stanley Total Living, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, with Rev. Jeff Schronce officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will greet friends graveside following the service.
Mrs. Wheeler was born June 20, 1933, in Catawba County, to the late Alvin Talbert and Hilda Belle Brotherton Talbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fed Eugene Wheeler. Mary worked for J.P. Stevens Textiles.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Fisher (Eddie) of Stanley; three grandchildren, Vernon Fisher (Beverly), Preston Fisher, and Brandon Fisher; and great-granddaughter, Payton Fisher.
Memorials may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, PO Box 563, Iron Station, NC 28080.
