Chadwick Lee Garmon
( November 20, 1989 - October 17, 2023 )
Chadwick “Chad” Lee Garmon passed away in Vale, NC on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the age of 33.
He was born in Fayetteville, NC on November 20, 1989. He was raised in Winder, GA where his love for Georgia football started to grow. Any time any Georgia team was playing, he was cheering them on. He also loved the Atlanta Braves. He relocated back to North Carolina with his father in 2008. He graduated from Winder Barrow High School in 2008. He loved music and had a tremendous musical talent. He even played in a band for a short period. Chad was also an art lover and spent time collecting a few big pieces of his own. He absolutely adored his family and enjoyed when they could all get together. He had a contagious personality and never met a stranger. Chad left us too soon, but his memory will always be with us.
Chad is survived by his father, Brian Garmon and stepmother LaDonna of Vale, NC; mother, Shannon Webster; brothers, Austin Kurle and Sterling Foreman of Bessemer City, NC; step-sister, Brittany Wray (Buddy) of Lincolnton, NC; grandparents, Jerry and Wanda Steele of Laurel Hill, FL; aunt and uncle, Scott and Debra Randolph of Eatonton, GA, and aunt and uncle, Kevin and Jesica Garmon of Cumming, GA; and cousins, Julia Grace, Olivia, Evan, and Larry.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service at Lincoln Cultural Center on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2 pm – 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Happy Tails Rescue, Inc., PO Box 84, Maiden, NC 28650, whom he was a big supporter of.
