Mary Elizabeth Bird "Betty" Kiser Lawing

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Bird Kiser Lawing, age 83, of Triangle Circle, Denver N.C. passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12: 00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lawing was born on April 23, 1940 and is the daughter of the late Ralph Dayton and Mary Elizabeth Llewellyn Kiser. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph L. Kiser and Byron R. Kiser.
Mrs. Lawing is survived by her husband of 63 years, Vernon Lawing; children, Bryan Lawing and wife, Beth of Iron Station, Kim Jones and significant other, Joe Forth of Denver, NC, Mary Alexander and husband, Mark of Oxford, NC, Kathleen Lawing and significant other, Rob McTighe of Sherrills Ford, N.C.; one brother, Charles G. Kiser of West Virginia; six grandchildren, Nicol Gonzalez and husband, Frankie, Meghan Lawing, McKenna Brown and husband, Dalton, Dayton Alexander, Madison Alexander and James Jones; five great-grandchildren, Charlotte Alexander, Elizabeth Alexander, Lucas Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez and Paisley Bentley.
