Brady “Buddy” Jonas Hoffman, III, age 72, of Yorkdale Lane in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2023. Buddy was born January 21, 1951, in Lincoln County, NC, son of the late Brady Jonas Hoffman, Jr. and Jacqueline Mosteller Hoffman.
Buddy was a master carpenter and built numerous residential homes. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and collecting hot wheels. His grandchildren meant everything to him. Buddy was a Leukemia warrior for over a year.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Kim Hoffman of the home; son, Brady J. Hoffman, IV, of Lincolnton; daughters, Kelly Hoffman Hayworth (Blake) of High Point, and Charity Hoffman of Lawndale; brothers, Rodney Hoffman (Cindy) of Maiden, Bobby Hoffman of Lincolnton, Lynette H. Friday (Jeff) of Lincolnton, Karen Hoffman of Lincolnton, Denise H. Cooper (Eddie) of Lincolnton, and Shelly H. Radar (Duane) of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Karen Sheppard of Lincolnton; and grandchildren, Taylor, Jonas, Krislyn, LeeLee, Trayden, Amyia, Hadley, Beckett, and Rhett.
In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his son, Chad Henry Hoffman; and sister, Sherry Hoffman Gunter.
A gathering to celebrate Buddy’s life will be held from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 04, 2023, in the Long Shoals Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall in Lincolnton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warlick Funeral Home- Brady J. Hoffman, III, Funeral Fund, P.O. Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
