Titus Monroe Carpenter

Titus Monroe Carpenter, age 84, of Wyant Road in Vale, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
Mr. Carpenter was born May 31, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Butler Stevenson Carpenter and Bertha Irene Reep Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Jay Carpenter. He worked as a petroleum contractor. He was self-employed for many years working in Florida. Later, he worked for Southfork Industries. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity in Tampa, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Harris Carpenter of the home; two daughters, Sheri Bowman (Shane) of Vale, and Deanna Cashion (Douglas) of Denver; brother, Farrell Carpenter of Vale; sisters, Marie Canipe of Vale, Ann Weldon of Hickory, and Emma Metcalf of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren, Titus Cashion and Scarlett Bowman.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Warlick Funeral Home.
