Betty Scronce Sain

Betty Scronce Sain, age 87, of Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Tommy Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Sain was born January 18, 1936, in Lincoln County, North Carolina, to the late Frank Little and Vernie Leonard Scronce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stan Sain; brothers, Hal Scronce, Ray Scronce, Ben C. Scronce, Lester Scronce, Jack B. Scronce, Dan Scronce and Bill Scronce; and one sister, Elizabeth Hoover. Mrs. Sain was a school teacher at Union Elementary.
She is survived by her husband, Neil Sain of the home; son, Michael Sain and Darra of Vale; brother, Bobby Sconce of Crouse; grandson, Eric Sain and wife Breanna of Lincolnton; great grandson, Caden Sain; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Betty’s caregivers, Jane Workman and Cherish Carter.
