Rosie Hester Cooper, age 84, of Hestertown Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in the Hestertown Cemetery with Pastor Wesley Ingle officiating.
Rosie was born October 29, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late John Dewey Hester and Ester Mae Liggen Hester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Cooper of the home; daughter, Crystal Gail Cooper of Vale; four sons, Robert Cooper of Lincolnton, Gary Cooper of Vale, Johnny Cooper of Lincolnton; and Ronald Wayne Cooper of the home; brother, James Hester of Lincolnton; sister, Julia Land of Lincolnton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
