Kenneth Ronald Morgan

Kenneth Ronald Morgan, age 74, of Henderson Road in Bessemer City, NC, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023. Mr. Morgan was born May 31, 1949, in Gaston County, NC, son of the late Ernest Robert and Ruby Elizabeth Heavner Morgan.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marsha Hicks Morgan; son, Shawn Morgan of Fairfax, VA; daughter, Dawn Walton (Larry) of Bessemer City, NC; grandchildren, Deven Morgan, Samantha Walton Brown (Cory), Christina Christopher, and Bradley Walton; three great-grandchildren; four brothers; one sister; step-sons Richard Brian Picklesimer of Bessemer City, NC, and Kenneth C. Picklesimer; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a brother.
A funeral service for Mr. Morgan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Trinity Assembly of God in Bessemer City, NC, with Pastor Eric C. Griffin officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Assembly of God, P. O. Box 713, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
