Sue Morrison Johnson

Sue Morrison Johnson, age 94, of Highway 10 in Vale, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
A funeral service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Palm Tree United Methodist Church in Vale, NC, with Chaplain Lisa Anderson and Reverend Cynthia Nanney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 29, 1929, in Rowan County, to the late John Brown and Nanette Clary Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Dale Johnson; two sisters; and seven brothers. Mrs. Johnson was a retired school teacher.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Terri Johnson Hoffer and husband Mike of Mebane, NC, Sandy Johnson Kincaid and husband Bill of Liberty Township, OH; one brother, Terry Morrison and wife Barbara of Salisbury; one sister, Nancy Phillips and husband R.G. of Statesville; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; special family friend, Pat Neill of Hickory.
The family would like to thank Jill (Oprah) and the staff at Trinity Ridge for their loving care the past 4 years.
