Murray Ansel Lewis

Murray Ansel Lewis, age 92, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Lewis was born March 17, 1931 in Lawton, OK to the late Shubert and Sybil Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Roma Peterson and all of his siblings. Mr. Lewis is a veteran of the United States Army, and was also a Mason. He was a real estate developer in the state of Florida where he resided.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Vickey Abernathy Lewis of the home and formerly of Lincolnton; two daughters, Annette McGilvray (Timothy) and Dollie Poe; son-in-law, Tom Peterson; grandchildren, Samantha McGilvray, Madison Poe, Brooke Peterson and a grandson, Christopher Peterson.
