Norma Kale Keever

Norma Kale Keever, age 92, of Furnace Road in Iron Station, died on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Farnsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Keever was born November 18, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late John Alfred Kale and Sudie Parker Kale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Billy Gene Keever; and sister and her husband, Faye and Gary Ray. She worked in banking.
She is survived by a daughter, LaDonna Michael (Hugh Doc) of the home; sister, Martha Mullen (Neil) of Lincolnton; brother, Jack Kale (Ann) of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Billy Jacob Michael (Marilyn) of Iron Station, and Jason Michael (Jodi) of Rock Hill, SC; three great-grandchildren, Logan Michael, Chloe Michael, and Lucas Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1725 Southside Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
