Annie Seate Blankenship
( August 30, 1934 - January 28, 2024 )
Born in Robeson County, NC, on August 30, 1934, Mrs. Annie Christean Blankenship, 89, of Lincolnton, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Covenant Church with Rev. Mike Devine officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by her son, Gary Blankenship and his wife Debra of Vale, NC; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurley and Vonnie Seate; her sister, Mary Francis Willis; and her loving husband of 62 years, Bennett Blankenship. Annie was a retired Federal employee. She was a past member of the Piecemakers Guild in Lincolnton, NC. She loved worshipping the Lord at Covenant Church in Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Academy, PO Box 654, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
