Taylor Hope Unell
( December 31, 1992 - January 30, 2024 )
Taylor Hope Unell, age 31, of Lincolnton, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Douglas Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at 2pm prior to the service. In honor of Taylor, we will be wearing burgundy and encourage anyone who would feel led to, to do the same.
Taylor was born December 31, 1992, in Mecklenburg County, to Camille Edge and adopted in 1997 by her father, Eric Geerken.
Taylor grew up in Lincolnton and graduated from East Lincoln High School in 2012. She graduated with her Bachelors Degree of Science in 2019 from Arizona State University.
Taylor was a mother of two beautiful girls, Aubree (11) and Adaline (5) who were her heart, pride, and joy. She loved her children, family, Jimmy, and her dog (Copper), and cat (Mocha) with all her heart. She loved to travel to the beach, mountains, and especially to Disney. She loved to sing, quote Disney and other movies with her sisters. She loved to hike, fish, and just about anything outdoors. She was passionate about building things and loved to work with her hands to draw and create. She loved family traditions and was a wonderful cook.
She will be forever remembered and loved by her mother, Camille Edge (Mark), father, Eric Geerken (April); daughters, Aubree and Adaline Unell; companion, Jimmy Lawrence, sisters, Madison Crowe (Landon) and her nephews, Sawyer and Owen; Samantha Reynolds (Tanner), Lauren Coberly (Martin), brother, Gabriel Edge; grandparents, Scott and Brenda Coble, Kees and Katherine Geerken, and Maurice and Roseann Edge, Godparents Amanda Seals (aunt), and Bryan Tomberlin (Christy) and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established for her children. Venmo - @camilleedge or contact Camille, Madison, or Samantha for other options.
